In a village near Stroud, UK, an upcoming OGA project will turn an existing, two-storey cottage into the centrepiece of a new, walled garden. A single-storey cloister will connect to main house via a low-profile, entrance link, whereupon a new guest wing will be created.
The structure will use Cross Laminated Timber components, manufactured offsite, to form a vaulted ceiling. Other materials will include polyester-coated-aluminium facing panels, local stone, and a zinc roof.
